Google announced it had acquired Siemplify, an Israeli security orchestration, automation, and response startup that enables security teams to collect and manage large amounts of data. The startup will be integrated into the company’s Google Cloud Platform.
The significant acquisition is part of Google’s broader efforts to expand its security capabilities as attacks become more frequent and sophisticated. Last August, it pledged to invest US$10 billion in cybersecurity over the next five years.
