iOS 13 with Dark Mode being released on September 19, 2019.

Frankly, I did’t expect that the LINE messenger for iOS (very popular in Japan, Taiwan, South Korea) will add Dark Mode support. Because LINE primarily cares about tons of annoying ads in the messenger, rather than usability.

I better not say about tons of bugs in this messenger. Such as the audio call is unexpectedly interrupted or the application unreasonable crashes. In a word, their rating on the App Store says it all.

But I was wrong, because finally they did it! After almost 4 months… As iOS developer, I believe that one week is more than enough to implement Dark Mode. Even for a big and complex application.

But given that Line adopted Dark Mode only for Contacts and the Chat, then even one day for one iOS developer is more than enough.
